Root question about file DL sites...

Im trying to download the 2.2 sbf and its taking forever. I was just wondering...these sites offer a free membership that says downloading speeds are increased for members, is it really that much faster? Im using my companys wifi so i alreay know its slow but 2 hours later and im at 15%
 
depends on the site. i know that rapid share accounts have no wait time and normally double the speed for me. not sure about mediafire or others.

I don't have any kind of membership and I download the full 2.2 SBF in 25 minutes, I can't remember which site but I did have to wait 30-45 seconds before I could hit download.
 
They all seem slow to me, for some reason. Just sit back, download, and watch Star Trek, the Next Generation. It works for me. ;)
