Question about ordering phones online

I've never done it...so this is probably a dumb question. Sorry
But what do you do when you actually get your phone? Do you take it to your local Verizon store to get it activated and to transfer all your contacts?
Thanks!!

I believe you can do that, but you can also do the setup yourself if you're comfortable with it (you can get contacts, etc. from the backup manager online if you've been using it).

We have the family plan with my wife's phone being the primary number.
We both have NE2 that are ready to be used. So, I'm going to use her $100 credit but on my line. Foresee any problems?

Thaaaaaaaaaaaat I'm not sure about--I've only had an individual plan, so I've never dealt with primary lines v.s. non-primary or even now NE2 comes into that. Sorry:(

Trust me, it's extremely easy to activate a phone by yourself.

As far as retrieving contacts goes, that might be a bit of an issue. If you use "BackupAssistant" I believe it saves contacts via phone-numbers. An easy fix for sure, but you'll want to make sure to run it before your deactivate your current phone, as well as your wife's, than when you're ready to activate the X, just re-download contacts via your cell number.
