Root question on ics

[h4x0rj3ff]

so it looks like the spectrum and the lucid are getting ics (Ice Cream Sandwich Headed To The LG Spectrum and LG Lucid on Verizon Wireless) is it possible that this is what we need to make ics on our phone work? i aske because we use the same root tool and the spectrum is the vs920 our predecessor.

root and what it takes for ics are 2 different beast.

We have CM9 on the spectrum already, so vzw is lat to the game, hell they have the leak as a flashable zip too, and all b4 the ota.

And most likely nothing from either of those will benefit the esteem as its msm8655/msm7x30 and the lucid/spectrum are msm8660.

Im not looking towards that, the Kernal will work only 75%. The rest will have to be modified to the Esteem.
