Hi all,
I am a Current T-mobile customer but switching to AT&T soon to get on a family plan with my wife. Planning on getting the Skyrocket. I rooted my T-Mobile G1 to use Cyanogen, decided not to root my G2 because I was happy with it. But I was thinking of rooting the Skyrocket right from the get-go. Only real reasons are to disable the bloatware and to be able to install root-only apps. So my question is, can I root but still use the phone as if it were non-rooted (ie not planning on installing any custom roms), still receive OTA updates, etc? I understand that may cause the phone to lose root, which I am OK with.
Thanks,
Randy
