I want to switch from raptor back to velocity .3. except that after putting raptor on i downloaded a new kernel. Can I put velocity on with the kernel I have now or do I have to change it to one from the velocity post? and if I do have to change it, do I change it before or after changing the rom to velocity?

Use the kernel that Trident posted in the Velocity 0.3 release.

Wipe data and caches as you normally would, flash the ROM then the kernel, then reboot.

I don't really understand what you mean when you say flash rom and kernel then reboot, when do I install the rom and new kernel through rom manager. Do you mean go to install new rom, flash the rom then install it then flash and install kernel? Or do you mean I need to do this all from recovery?

Do I save the kernel and rom zips onto my sd card and install them as .zip files? or do I unzip them on my pc and add all the files to my sd seperate?

Save the zip onto the base of your SD card (don't put in any folder) and install the zip through your recovery.

I think you are talkin about another recovery. i use clockwork mod recovery. How do I flash the rom and kernel from recovery? Don't I need to do that in rom manager? Is there any way we can get into an irc or something and u can walk me through it please?
