Root Question: recoloring bootanimations

What would be the best way to recolor an entire boot animation??
I.e., changing everything that is cyan, in the CM9 bootanimation.zip, to a reddish color.
So far, I've only accomplished unzipping the bootanimation.zip.
I just want to know what would be the easiest and quickest way to accomplish this, without doing it all by hand.
What programs should I look into?

You would have to open every png/jpg or whatever format they are in an image editor and recolor them red.

That's the response I was afraid of..
What I was wondering is, is there any programs that can say, batch recolor cyan to red?
Or, what would be the best photo editing program to use?
(I have Paint.net FYI)

I could do it for you if you like. I have nothing better to do today. Just shoot me a link to the boot logo.

The Bootanimation was taken from Quattrimus CM9 Beta1 Pre3.
I figured out how to easily do it, just turning the hue all the way up to give it a fire-e red look, although it is causing a few imperfections in the images, but this will at least give me an idea of what it will look like.
If you want, while i create a rough version of the boot animation, you can work on one that isnt as roughly made.
CM9 Boot animation(original non flashable .zip):
bootanimation.zip

Sorry I can't help with this anymore. I have other plans that I forgot about.
