Root question samsung admire root help.

[IzzeBlaze]

Hey I've had the Samsung admire for a while now and I had my last one rooted a couple months back but I eventually cracked the screen and had to get a new one. Now I'm running into a brick wall with my latest admire.. so to get to the point quickly here's my question..

Is it not possible to root two admires on the same comp??. Because I've been having troubles getting this admire rooted. The dos window opens and says that the phone is rooted but I know its not so do I need to use another computer or is there an alternate way of achieving a full root on more than one Samsung admire from the same PC?? Please help all I have is a single laptop..

Run the root once as administrator the normal way, then turn usb mode on in your phone and run the root tool again. Problem solved....

There is three things I can suggest you do:

1. Make sure you installed the mobile phone drivers from Samsung.
2. When you download the ZIP, make sure its not corrupted and you extract all correctly in a folder before running the batch file.
3. Make sure you set the USB debugging before you connect it to your USB wire.

Once you have those things done, run the batch file with administrator privileges.

IF you cannot get it to work through my suggestions, you can always download the application from the Android Market.

Hope this resolves your problem.

It probably is rooted. Go to the Google Play Store (formerly Android Market) and download the SuperUser app. This should give you full root access. To test, try and run a 'root only' app and see if it works. This is what worked on my phone.
