Root Question: Unroot before ICS Update?

Simple question but I've not been able to find a soild answer. I don't want to take the time to unroot if not necessary but I don't want to brick my phone or have install issues if I don't. So anyone tried this rooted before ICS. I'm currently on stock 2.6.3 GB.UCLA3 kernel 2.6.35.11.

I would unroot to prevent any issues. Its worth it to be safe.

I don't know if you have found an answer yet. I'm moving this to the All Things Root sub-forum to help you out.

I don't know if it would be different with the Skyrocket, but on my T-Mobile Galaxy S2 the only thing that has happened after upgrading is losing root. I've updated ICS with Kies, gone back to Gingerbread, used Odin to upgrade to ICS and all I've had to do is reroot. Again, I don't have your phone and it could work differently.
