Root Questions with Tommy's Classic Rom V1.0?

Okay I see it now, thanks and is there any way to get the on-screen buttons like the GNexus? Also when I flash another ROM or anything like that, is there anything I should do since I partitioned it? If I get a new SD Card and move all of my stuff over, do I have to re-partition it? And lastly do I have to flash a2sd roms only or does it matter?

Why would you want both hardware and soft buttons?I think that would just take up too much real estate on the screen

You dont have to partition anything, but if you want a2sd to continue working you will need to partition the new card

One thing you didn't ask but is pertinent is that when you make nand backups with roms that use the partition, you have to select sd ext in recovery, as well.
Otherwise, when you restore the nand, it won't have any of the apps. :p
 
Its probably not going to be anytime soon.

We will get some sense ICS ROMS with working 4G once the evo 3D finally gets it. AOSP ROMS are gonna be a whole different story though.

It just depends on when the devs crack it. Don't hold your breath for it being soon though :p
 
Hey guys, I still have one more problem that it seems like I have on every aosp ROM :confused: The status bar always says I have a voice mail.. It says " New Voicemail (1)" and then below says "dial (my number)". The problem is when I hit it, it sends me to my voice mail however I dont have a voice mail. This is a problem for me on every aosp rom that I have tried and I have never found a "cure". Does anybody know how to fix this?
 
I keep forgetting there are 2 cm9's. i am not having that prob with the cm 9 by team dirt.

not having it on decks reloaded either.

I have had it on decks reloaded and cm9 by team dirt(running now). Any ideas on a way to fix? It is on every single aosp rom for me for some reason?

Phantom voicemail.

From what I've read (I've never had the problem), it seems to be a voicemail notification glitch from when you switched from your old "dumb" phone to your smartphone. If you still have a dumb phone lying around the fix seems to be to activate the old dumb phone, check your voicemail, and then reactivate the smartphone.

It can all be done from the sprint website.
