Root Quick settings and Z4Root dont work on prevail.

Off the subject of the thread, I know. But, the root problem is solved now anyway. Thanks for the info on Pic2Shop. It does work!

yup I tested it out as well some things it has difficulty with, different color backgrounds I think, as well as softer, flexible materials I tried reading a bag of candy and it wouldnt get a lock on it so I typed in the barcode that worked.
 
To all those prevail users such as myself. To my suprise the prevail is a gamestopfantastic phone. And yes there is no adobe flag support. I have found a way to enjoy flash video. I've found after days of searching that Skyfire web browser has it's own flash video which plays about 90% of web videos and is improving each week. And yes phone is ROOTED!!!! Have been got the past week. And my phone is current running at 800 mhz. Which isn't as fast as other smart phones which cap out at 1200mhz but it's way faster than stock prevails.
I want going to post this add but I'm tired of people talking down in the prevail because it's " soo cheap" compared to other phones. If you would liked to know how to root get at me. And I will tell where I got the info. I hope this helps

This is a neat Thread to read all the way from the beginning just to get an appreciation for the work that went into getting root on the Prevail. It involved the participation of a lot of smart folks in order to get it done. It is easy to take all that for granted now that we have had it for a couple of months! Thanks Guys!
