Root Radio for Gingeritus?

Anyone using Gingeritis 1.0/1.1 and if so, which radio are you using successfully with gps?

I'm not running it, but I'm pretty sure you need to be running the MR2 or MR2.5 radio with that ROM

ill go a step further and say if youre wanting someone to tell you wich of the 2/2.5 to run,the results are widely varied,and ive seen several claims of each being "the best" your best bet is to simply try them both.

no matter what rom/radio im running i have good luck getting fast locks by running gps stats after a fresh install and letting it lock on 7+ satelites. for me,doing so gets my location in maps to within a few meters,and lock in navigation is within a second or 2.

I ran Gingeritis for some time with the MR2 radio and had no issues. Fast GPS lock, good signal, etc. I then decided to check out MR2.5. It seemed as if GPS locked on more quickly, literally within 2 or 3 seconds, and I noticed I had an extra bar all the time.
