Root Radio Updating required?

If I'm rooted on the latest version of the OTA stock ROM (1.70.605.0,MR2), do I need to flash new radios if I flash a custom ROM? I would figure since I have the "latest and greatest" radios right now, I wouldn't need new ones. However, I've been wrong before so I'll ask before I attempt to make myself a brick.

Yup you should be fine. If you read any of the rom descriptions the developer will say which radio you need. All the roms currently being updated that I've seen are all at least MR2 based.

Yes, you're fine, as ahoogst said. As far as I know, there are no ROMs available that currently support the mr1 radio.
