Root Radios & RILs

I'm about to flash Android Revolution. The devs recommend a particular radio (12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M) but I first want to see how it works with the stock GB radio I currently have (12.56.60.25P_26.10.04.03_M). So I assume I need to flash the corresponding RIL for it. Will doing this overwrite the RIL for the recommended radio that is cooked into the ROM? If I decided to then flash the recommended radio, would I then need to also restore the corresponding RIL? Or can there be more than one RIL available on a ROM at the same time?

If you want to flash the corrosponding RIL for the radio that your currently using. Just flash the AR rom first. Then either reboot normally and flash the RIL or just flash the RIL after flashing the rom.

If you decided to flash the recommended radio then yes would need to reflash the RIL that goes for that radio or reflash the rom to use the RIL. No there cannot be more than one RIL on the same rom at the same time.

Keep in mind you do not have to flash a recommended radio for any rom. Those that say a recommended radio say that because that's just the RIL the rom comes with. There is theroies that say the correct radio + RIL combination gives the best results but in my testing, mixing and matching or same combination reviled similar results. May depend on said person's location and other factors though.
