Help RAM problems

I have I have recently purchased a samsung galaxy prevail and only downloaded a couple of apps, 1 of the apt happens to be android assistant I have only have the phone 3 days now and I am out of ram. can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Start there after you get through that look into darktremors a2sd there is a thread on it in the all things root section.
It will basicly put your apps on your sd card.
