I checked the RAM on my Desire Z and it's showing the total is 373Mb on both Mini Info and Android System Info, ROM is 1.1Gb. Are you getting the same value for these? I may need to get this replaced.

One explanation says part of the RAM is reserved (like for GPU) so only a certain % is actually free for apps use.

What does SD & phone storage show for Internal phone storage/Available space? That's a true guide to what's available to you.

SD & phone storage doesn't show the RAM, only SD and ROM space. ROM is 0.88Gb free but I'm more interested on the RAM because this affects performance.
