Random Thought Thread

It's only a Taurus. I really want to take it to the track though. Go to driving school, learn to drive at high speeds, and have a recreational activity to do on the weekends. How fun would that be.

I'm a big fan of autocross lately - a great way to learn how a car handles at the limits in a safe environment. It may be a good idea to check with your local SCCA chapter to see if they have any driver education events in the near future.

So the program denied me due to me not wanting to murder people or hurt anyone. Oh and because I have add and anxiety. Not schizophrenia.

So basically they told me to screw myself.

Not eligible for Medicaid or any help whatsoever even though I only make about $500 a month. Guess I can thank Obama and congress for that free health care he was spewing out his butt.

Obama took ALL benefits away from my 77 year old grandma. Whatever. America is screwed. I don't care. I'll be in Europe when America is in another depression.

Keep borrowing money America... Everyone knows that we will NEVER pay it back. As soon as our borrowers realize that the better.

Maybe in the future. Right now, I'm just saving up to buy an EV. Maybe the new Tesla in 2017. Or maybe by then, their competitors will have made a car that can go as far, and as of quality.

I told myself years ago that I would never buy a combustion car. I think I may be able to keep that possible.

dude how is that thing working out? I have herd good an bad from every web site lol
I want one but cant afford it now :/

I still love my Pebble - even after the release of the first round of Android Wear devices. Sure, the Pebble's not as flashy, but it does a great job of being a useful extension of my phone. I like that the monochromatic display always displays the time, is visible under the brightest sunlight, AND means that the battery will last at least five days.

The Android app is a bit slow and buggy, and the official notification handler isn't so hot. I only ever use the app to load new watch apps and faces, so I can deal with that. And I use YaNC for notification handling - it enables custom filtering, dismissing (or even acting on) the notification on the phone side, dismissing notifications with a flick of the wrist, etc.

If I didn't have a Pebble, I'd probably be clambering to buy an Android Wear watch. But I don't really see a need to upgrade just yet.

Okay, get back to those random thoughts now :D
