heat came back after using space heaters to warm the pipes over night! Thank goodness!would have hated to pay someone to come out and basically do the same thing! Baseboard heat lesson learned
DO NOT have the thermostat lower the heat at night during sub zero temps! Constant flow of warm water.
ok so Why do guys seem to be attracted to the opposites of their mothers?
I'm just noticing that both my boy's tend to lean toward the opposite of me in girls..Although they are still young and haven't really started any "serious "dating yet...but both have picked sweet ,subdued ,not all that tall, dark hair eyes skin etc...Total opposite of me!haha! Come to think of it...I am the total opposite of hubby's mom!

If you have a pipe that has a chronic freezing problem you can wrap it in heated tape. Then you can use your thermostat as normal, just give the pipe that little extra warmth where it needs it when it gets frigid.heat came back after using space heaters to warm the pipes over night! check your local Walmart for something called "pocket juice" there 1500mah batteries that u plug your smart phone into for a quick charge. They have 1500... And 4000 for at most $10-$15%$#@*!!! My battery is dead dead. SOB. Another jump and off to get a new one I go.

It doesn't work like that. Try continuously refreshing the tracking page and see if that helps.
If its coming UPS it's going to go through Ohio. If it's shipping FedEx it will go through Memphis, TN.And make sure you're signed up for email AND SMS updates.
I've got an external hard drive coming right now, and I've checked the status multiple times. I shouldn't worry though. I'm in Vegas, it's shipping from Phoenix, and i have Amazon Prime, so it's 2 day anyway

In an incredible twist of irony, I had to return my new winter boots (rated for -25F) from LL Bean on Monday due to a defect. They didn't have any in the store, and the same color I had was on backorder until August.
So I opted to get all black instead. Long story short, that was Monday, with 4-6 business day shipping on the last pair available in my size until August. With the winter we are having, I really, really need boots, so I've been killing the order status link to see if they shipped. Lo and behold a UPS truck just stopped in front of my house with the replacement boots. And damned if I didn't get a shipping confirmation while walking back down my driveway.
