Hilarious.

And at first I couldn't figure out what you had against the DEC VAX.

Here's the humble 11/730 - I once had one behind my desk - it was my pc.

I had kids by the time it came out. :)

Later, I used a MicroVAX for a pc - with my own 9-track. :D

PS - I still have VMS 3.6 source on microfiche in my den. Remember when we had to refer to that to sort out system calls? :D

OK, maybe not you if you worked for DEC.

We had a number cruncher that ran across two 785s and a 782.

One day a manager from one of the subs (TRW) came in announcing that they'd hired the new Macro programmer who was going to take us all back to school.

He put it on his resume, how good he was with Macro.

Unfortunately, he meant Lotus 1-2-3 macros and they never really uncovered that in the interviews.

He didn't know that anything beyond the 5250 existed. :D
 
i burnt my finger tips picking up the griddle from the stove! I thought it was cool...but after I picked it up ..realized the burner was still on and it was super hot!!! threw it in the sink...in a pain filled panic rinsed my fingers under cool water...
it doesnt hurt anymore....but they are kinda all whiteish grey chared...:? but oddly no pain..

sunny side is ....I can now commit crimes knowing i have no fingerprints to worry about!

*never mind..was going to grammer correct but...ehhh
