Though I've purchased the traps locally, I see they are available at Amazon. There is a cup to place the bait that is below the platform a mouse must stand on to access the peanut butter. They work like a charm. The hoop with the yellow plastic wrap is the killing tool and the other hoop is the setting and releasing arm. They move as one.

Setting the trap is easy. You don't have to touch the kill bar to set and there is no threat to your fingers.
Placing traps along an area where mice are known to travel is best. The darker or out of sight the placing the better. If you have mice... this will catch them.

Ridding a place of mice is more than catching them. The most important step is finding where they have breached your dwelling. Steel wool works great for stopping up holes and mice will not chew it.
They will continue to be a problem until you stop them from getting in.

If all fails, call Billy the exterminator. :D

Thankfully my issue is the garage - they have not as yet breached the house and I assume that's for reasons of self preservation .... Did I mention I have cats.
:D

With two dogs and a parrot, my cat options are limited. A good mouser would be the ultimate answer for me otherwise. Cats are just cool... and have many redeeming qualities. :)

Would you give it a try? The McChoco Potato chips dipped in white and milk chocolate, is available from January 26th in Japan.

Yeah. I'm not a fan of cats. I always had them but now that I haven't for years and years I realize I never did like them. And, the snakes could certainly eat the smaller cats but not full grown adults ;)

There's 3 kinds of people.
1. Likes dogs exclusively (or dogs and anything other than a cat) These people prefer subservience, when they get home they better darn well be greeted happily by their pet. They want a trainable, reliable pet that will bow to their will. :p
2. Likes cats exclusively (or cats and other similar pets - no dogs) These are the busy, the preoccupied, the self involved. They don't have time for training, they don't have time for dealing with a pet that needs their constant attention, handling and stewardship. :p
3. (I fall in this one) A subtle mix of 1 and 2, they like having something that needs them and their constant care and attention (the dog) and they also don't mind sharing their pad with some crashers (the cat or cats). My cats are super cool, not crappy, aloof, pissy or schizo. They are good roommates. o_O

Mice aren't the brightest critters in the world. That's why there are so many of them. The only time one of my cats caught one - 2 of the other cats were chasing it, and the 3rd cat sat there with her mouth open. Mouse ran right in.

Try training a ferret. They have the worst case of ADD. Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now.

Maybe one of my dogs is part ferret, she's supposed to be a German Shepherd but she's a loony nut case.

My friend has 9 indoor cats. And a mouse problem.

My part shepherd is crazy as a mofo too. She'll be 3 this year and still acts like she's 6 months old. We set aside time daily for "crazy puppy time" she goes totally ballistic. LOVES the snow too, so right now crazy time is her running tear ass through the yard, hippity hopping and snorting in the ground to make the snow fly. It's a hoot.

I like animals... As friends and as food, though I usually don't eat my friends...

Right now I have for Chihuahua mixes in the back yard because people keep bringing them over. I hate it that these poor, wonderful lapdog are stuck outside because everyone except me is allergic.

I like the traps, but do they handle your bigger than average mouse? I don't know what species we have in the loft, but I do know they are pretty big rodents. Obviously built themselves a home gym up there :)
I've seen a D battery operated electrical trap that gives off all kinds of pretty blue sparks over the rodent while frying.. Very effective! [emoji28] Found at like Home Depot or something..

I've caught some trophy size mice with the trap. I've also caught two mice at a time a few times. The best trap I've found.

Someone mentioned an electronic trap some posts back. That trap I've not used. I've used the sticky traps and the standard victory traps. Both work but I'll stick with those I pictured. A number of years ago I purchased some sort of mouse deterrent. They supposedly emitted an inaudible noise that mice hate. Don't buy those.
