Actually, it's a good truck specializing in desserts, but they keep forgetting to list milk on the menu.

I got me a slice of marionberry pie a la mode.

...and a milk.
 
Is it even possible to do a gorgeous, slow, steady pan shot with digital capture and display technology?

Am I stuck with these jagged, stuttering, stair-stepped atrocities of "film" footage?

Can we please go back to analog technologies?

I never even came close to getting one.........
Was I a total wanker for thinking 2-XL was cool, in the day; Being all hot and bothered, trying to get Mom and Dad to buy me one?

There are adapters for tripod heads that will hold a cell phone. You can find a small inexpensive tripod and get the adapter to hold the phone. You would need a pan head and a lot of small cheap tripods do come with that.

That is analog technology. I've used a tripod ever since I had a manual film SLR.

The problem is the storage medium its self, perverting the information into something unrecognizable.
Neil Young once said ( during the ascendancy of CD music, something to the effect of:) It's like Zillions of little ones and zeros, needles, stabbing at my ears.

And check those hillsides........ Geology laid bare, lurid layers of strata; Sediment stripes, millions of tons; All bent up at a 45 degree angle to the ocean horizon.

Clear evidence that this is a delightfully twisted place, that rocks 'n rolls ;)
