So the old saying "bet you a dollar to a donut" is no longer relevant. I purchased six donuts today for eight dollars and change. The saying will have to be changed to bet you a donut to a dollar. I don't know just when donuts became so expensive. Perhaps about the same time it quit being a doughnut and became a donut.

Beats me. I grew up with catsup and pronounced it cats up. What I have in the fridge is ketchup and pronounced catch up. Google tells me that it was originally made of fish guts.
I would have called it Yuck.

Soy Sauce used to be a fish sauce, also; and I believe Worcestershire Sauce still is, technically, as it still contains anchovies.

You answer them? I look the numbers up on the laptop. Most are spam, and they get blocked. I don't give a damn who they are. Gov't or charity.

I do think they share the lists on the "dark web" only because after f%^&ing with them on numerous occasions, I no longer get those calls from "Dave at Microsoft" who found a virus on my cumpooter.

It's the pre-recorded crap that drives me nuts because you can't play with them.
