As you may have spotted... I've been using various images of Basil Brush as my avatar for a while....

.... I've just found out I'm actually going to see the legend himself, as he's turning on our town Christmas lights this year... I don't think i've been this excited since I met a Dalek!

Made a new post instead of an edit - for good reason. I take it back. The blue shift is really really slight. It was there while set up was going on but now that it's on Fi and set up and been restarted ... it's really really hard to see unless I look for it. Odd.


Also the squeeze sides are really freaking neat-o.

Yes I will. In the Pixel 2XL forum. Still getting settled in and exploring. I will say I ran the screen through the paces last night, trying to find the chink in the armor. I did what I thought would stress it the most, running HDR 4K videos on YouTube and then I ran what I thought would be the most dark and detailed video I could think of, STAR TREK DISCOVERY - I streamed it off CBS app and ya know what? It looked better than it does on my 10 year old 42 inch Visio TV. No black "crush" or splotchiness. The blacks are black the blues are blue and I don't note much if any "graininess". It displays black very well and even revealed the mystery of the dark production value of the new Trek. I'm amazed.

I've spent the last week feeding my dogs a high-bulk diet and letting them relieve themselves on my front lawn, just for trick-or-treat night.

(everyone else on my block is handing out treats ... I thought a trick would be a nice change.)
