So my OZY Daily Dose email just used a picture of a Harvard University dorm to highlight why "College Campus Populations Are Shrinking"

Easy answer: College Campuses are small. Harvard might be big in "prestige" but the campus is small. Duh I've walked around it, through it, across it and visited multiple buildings within it in less than a day.

How big are College Campuses in your local area? Do they have highrise dorms? Lot's of land?

Ira, my 6+ foot long python is my service animal. Some people just don't understand...and, just for the record my sanity never answers as it's just not home.

I would much rather sit next to a salmonella-ridden peacock than half the people I've been forced to sit next to on domestic flights.

My sanity filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. Now, not only do I have to pay it alimony, but it got custody of the imaginary support animals.

Reminds me of a funny story when I took my first little girl to Franklin Park Zoo. They let the peacocks wander around near the aviary and she saw one and thought it was so pretty! She ran right up to it and when that tail fanned she ran away crying. She's 30 know and lives on her own with her boyfriend.

Definitely going to bring that up next time she visits.
