Random Thought Thread

I've only ever used on Apple device, an iPad 1 with iOS 5. It stopped working in 2015 I think... It still does actually work, but for some reason only if it's heated up enough, and then it dies again after a few minutes especially if you don't use it.

Except for CAD type apps, and downloading certain videos (Craftsy) and extra graphics in At Bat, Android wins hands down.
More software, better software and most of the apps are bargains on Android.

I did check out the app store and the freaking ad sponsored apps are LOUD. They hog the whole screen and blast the music to boot.
The few Android apps I have that have ads only have crawlers at the top and bottom of the screen.

Android also has MORE scientific and nature type apps.
 
I do like some of the "light fittings" some of these places. :thumbsupdroid:

That's what I'd call War of the Worlds style.

One day I'm going to hit that near billion dollar USD lottery, then I'm going to gather up my closest family and friends, then we're going to a resort while I contact some lawyers, then I'm going to buy an uninhabited island, then I'm going to Netflix and chill, then I'm going to build houses for everybody I'd invited, then I'll make my name public.

@Sluggers, I merged a few of them together because they were consecutive. When someone posts consecutive messages in the same thread without any response is either considered a "bump" or a flood posting, neither of which we permit. Now, seeing that you use the app most of the time, I figured you couldn't go back and edit your original posts, so I merged them.
