The one hard-fast rule of being The Doctor is the actor must be British. I don't think Whoopee has the gravitas for it.

Meanwhile, in Castle Dngrs, my phone's vibrate motor miraculously healed itself. I seriously doubt that the lovely crack that developed in my tablet will disappear, though. Not without a lot of money disappearing from my wallet in the process.

I seriously doubt that Vermont or West Virginia have full coverage. For that matter, Maine probably doesn't either, up on the northern end, even within sight of the coast.

How come a million friends will get to know me, I am an onion wrapped up in glass bottle, wrapped up in a ten thousand story lines of the productions of the world around me. I can only say a million things, but those things I do, I tend to do them right that moment.

Heh. Well, at least I found time to install a new battery in my laptop. Considering an SSD, but that will have to wait for funding.

Meanwhile, since Mint 19 is not going to have a KDE flavor, I am thinking about trying KDE Neon out.

I find the rear derailleurs tougher to tweak.
Rears are easy. Adjust the upper limit screw and lower limit screw to set the max range of the derailer, then tweak the shifts with the cable tensioner. I agree the fron is a pain though, and recommend getting that one dialed in before you adjust the rear.

It won't go on to the inside cog at all. I managed to coax it on to the outside one, so I've got 14 out of the 21 gears available. But I think the cable tension is all wrong.

Last time I tried to align my daughter's hybrid, I had the same issues.

The alignment lasted all of a month.

lol! I'm thinking it may not be as easy as I thought. Yeah mine is also a hybrid bike

Is it an indexed or friction shift lever?

Now you're getting too technical for me :)
I'll go for indexed, because there's a control on the handle bars which tells me what gear I'm in. That's the problem, because it's saying "1", but the chain's on the middle cog. It won't actually go down because well, there's nowhere to go. And what's strange is it doesn't even want to shift up to the biggest cog on the outside. It's like the cable is stuck, and there's insufficient movement either way.
Maybe I'll just hit it with a hammer :)

Yes I know what you mean by friction - that's a twist grip, right?
Mine's indexed.
