Random Thought Thread

There's a bitter sweetness when problems happen, that you predicted would happen ages ago, but nobody listened to you. There's the satisfaction of being right, but the disappointment that nobody listened back then, or you wish you'd put your foot down harder.

I used to feel that way but now I just keep more notes - for longer.


in today's age I don't understand this desire to farm out everything and not control your own operations data and process. I don't get it.

True. Brexit proves that beyond all doubt. My default assumption nowadays is that nobody actually knows what they're doing. It's not far from the truth.

I'd just sound really lame saying 'I told you so'. So I just come on here and moan about it :D
 
The bigger problem is no one is willing to admit they don't know what they are doing, and everyone around them is afraid to point it out.
