^ Very nice (borat voice - obviously ;))

Congrats - how's the rooting process for that? Simple? Difficult?

The evo's had a pretty easy root method since I've had it... but I always envied those who had to do things the harder way (in that they worked for their root, while I just stressed out and took the plunge).

Unlocking the boot loader, flashing CWM and rooting the Nexus S is simple. Ran a batch file that hand-holds you through a few steps. Takes a few minutes. Once done flash the ROM of your choice and tada ;-) ...running AndroidME 1.1 (ICS 4.03) which is super stable.

ahh nice nice. Yeah, evo's pretty much the same. Ours wasn't a batch file (at least when I did it), though as far as the program went, it probably was just a front end for a batch file /shell script (had a linux variant too!). There wasn't really any User interaction if memory servers me correctly.

How you liking the phone?

Doesn't matter if I get no sleep tonight, installing arch and it's going well so far! :D Super excited.
Noooo..! Hit ctrl c at the same time as crtl x in nano, think I lost everything :( system didn't boot :(

Redo! :)
Promise I'm done with updates on this ;)

How you liking the phone?

I've had the Nexus S since about August of last year and think its an excellent phone and close to perfect in size, it replaced the HTC Desire I bricked. Then my wife's contract ran out in November and she expressed interest in a smartphone so we went in at the same time as my brother-in-law to renew. He got a Galaxy S2X. My better half said to me; how about I take your phone and you get the S2X as well. :D So all we did was switch SIMs.

Just 2 days ago my wife and I switched phones, she has the S2X and I have the Nexus S back. So far she seems to like the S2X. Myself I forgot how much I missed the physical size and the ASOP look and feel.

Not sure if these battery stats are fake, but I haven't had the battery last this long in a long time. This was taken from my Captivate yesterday before going to bed. The battery had 30 to 40% remaining. I am running the latest ICS build from Team Hacksung.
