If only you were closer.....I'm in need of a job and I'm a good secretary. :)

Awe.... but BB, I'm a bad boss. I wouldn't wish her job on anyone. Love her, but I'm sure she has a few extra glasses of wine since she works with me. Just the way of medicine unfortunately she gets the brunt of my frustrations. Gratefully she is paid well and has very broad shoulders.

Rain Dogs is probably one of my favorite albums. Tom Waits is amazing.

Also, I heard today that Amazon is being sued about their domain name (amazon.com) by Brazil, who wants the domain name for the forest.

I just wonder why does the Amazon (collection of trees) need a domain name, and if it's so important why did they wait so long to get it?

How about they each settle and Amazon (company) gets the .com name, and the collection of trees can have amazon.br or whatever their TLD is.

9to5 - solving world problems by giving them the minimal amount of consideration possible ;) :p

There's a problem right there.

Brazil is the name of a movie, pretty sure it's copyrighted.

Cool tip on Naked Browser, checking it out! :)

So... does that mean that the movie production company that made the film 'brazil' should now get rights to Amazon.com???

Glad I'm not involved in that case!!

;) :p

Close, and an excellent question.

The same judge that ruled in favor of Apple over HTC couldn't figure that one out either, so he's assigned Robert De Niro to play the part of Jeff Bezos and testify in the case.

Naturally, the blogosphere, never afraid to run a story without pesky fact checking, has fallen all over themselves once news hit that Robert De Nile was involved and they're all asking what he's hiding and how he made his millions.

Undaunted, De Niro put up his pal, Al Pacino, to answer questions on his behalf as a prank. BGR was the first to point out that Mr. Puccini was far too young to have produced the music that he did, and provided an infographic from the same brain dead analysts trying to sell the idea that the iPhone is retaining market share to prove it.

Online comments on the blog pages erupted into flame wars over Amazon copying classical artists and selling their songs as Amazon property.

The judge summarily ruled that the country of Brazil as presented on a map violated a shape invented by Chile.

Mr. Puccini has remained unavailable for comments.

Omg... I actually put my thinking cap on at first! Only you Early!

I feel lousy complaining about my trivial problems when some people have real problems. Of course, when I hear people complain about their even more trivial problems, I think, "psshh... please," but then I kinda feel lousy about that too.

I recently heard the demo from a band I enjoyed in the past, and it's sparking a surge of nostalgia in my gut that is slightly reassuring. :p
