I never had Taco Bell.

I actually used to quite like Taco Bell - my 'favourite' (=disliked the least) fast food. That was about 20 years ago, though, well before all the recent stories about their 'meat' etc etc .. not so sure I'd go for it now. Probably still tastes as good, though.

They did have an outlet just off Leicester Square, right opposite Planet Hollywood. Not sure if either of them are there anymore.

I totally fell for you man!!!!

:'-(

My 1 book cost R1400!!!!

:'-(

Ouchies!!!!

And I am already close to borderline hobo joe so I really can't afford to pay such high prices... but sigh... I gotta if I wanna get through this ek se!

:-)

If only I can pay this! :D

I can't remember where you said you're from, but here in the US you can go to places like Half Price Books and can't textbooks and what not for pretty cheap.

You gotta try the Doritos Locos tacos. Really good! Smothered burrito is awesome too.

The thing about meat is its gonna have some additives you know? If you live in America at least.
Heck even the meat at Walmart has additives as well.

Great idea! :)

:-/

Went to the 2nd hands shops book shops around here and searched the online 2nd hand shop "gumtree" and google search...

no dice.

We are not lucky like other countries... our gubbermint taxes educational books... they don't believe in progress... they want to tax educational books...

******* losers.

They are losers.

They tax everything because they want 100 new mansions.

This country is insane.

They don't want the country to grow - no matter what.

The SAME book was LESS than HALF PRICE in the Americas...

It was 50 dollars.....

Wow.

Crazy place.

Can it be shipped to your country?
If not perhaps amazon has some books you can get. online always has things cheaper because they get them straight from the manufacturer.

Ugh there was no point. :-(

:(

Frack I remember I did a whooole lot of calculations and the shipping was very high because amazon doesn't want to use our postal services because our postal services here are corrupt and steal your stuff in the blink of an eye.

It was basically the same price as buying locally here.

:-/

Pathetic I know...

Where do you live?

You might be able to get a PO Box? If that wouldn't help enlist the help of an AF member that lives near you that you trust and can have it sent there. They could possibly drive it to you? I couldn't see why it would be a huge issue considering it would be a one time thing.

It is an issue because in SA we are forced to pay import taxes on everything under the sun.

We can't get things over seas without paying a lot of money on import duties.

Our gubbermint likes it this way.

They want to "protect" local business / thieves because they are all corrupt.

Sorry but this is SA and it is corrupt like this.

Fir example, yes we "can" import something but the gubbermint makes you pay an arm and a leg with import tax duties and it actually cost more than buying it locally and you don't get the local support or warranty or anything you would from the store.

SA is corrupt like this.

The last time my brother tried to get a book imported from over seas because of the bull shit import duties he paid MORE than the local *******.

They do it on purpose to force you to go buy locally because they are scum that are crooked scum bags that will rot in hell for ever and ever.

Get a PO Box in the UK.

*sighs* Another crappy day. And it started early too. Let's see, where do I begin? On the way to work by bus this morning, I got double-charged for a single weekly pass ($24 each).

When I arrived at my job, my computer kept lagging and freezing, so I had to borrow someone else's at their cubicle. Couldn't get any lunch due to a major downpour that stopped just after my break ended. Did I mention that I forgot my umbrella? Then it started raining again after leaving work, having to walk in the rain to the bus stop.

Then I found out the buses are running about 30 minutes to an hour late. Somehow, I got bird crap or something on my shirt and backpack and had to wipe it off. And now as I'm typing this, I'm finally on the second bus on the way home.
