Whats adderall? Lol some of my girl friends spiked me with viagra once.... was funny but cant really describe the concequences on this forum but it was like something from Benny hill :D

Adderal is an amphetamine used to treat people with Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder Hyperactivity disorder. (ADD/ADHD)

Where as a person with no ADD were to take the medication or even in some cases smoke methamphetamine, a person diagnosed with ADD or ADHD took either of the 2 would slow down and not be 'messed up' like a person who does not suffer from ADD/ADHD.

I'd guess Adderall is same sort of thing as Viagra, but a different manufacturer. There's Cialis as well.

Actually I think adderall causes ED in some people. It's basically just a focus pill.

Edit-
To add more to this, America has a system for categorizing drugs.

They go by 'schedules'
Schedule 1 (no known medical uses and high rate of abuse)
Canabis
heroin
lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD)
methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy)
methaqualone
peyote

Schedule 2 (high rate of abuse, possible psychological damage if used)
cocaine
methamphetamine
methadone
hydromorphone (Dilaudid)
meperidine (Demerol)
oxycodone (OxyContin)
fentanyl
Dexedrine
Adderall
Ritalin

Schedule 3 (less addictive than 2, more addictive than 4)
Combination products with less than 15 milligrams of hydrocodone per dosage unit (Vicodin), Products containing less than 90 milligrams of codeine per dosage unit (Tylenol with codeine), ketamine, anabolic steroids, testosterone

Schedule 4 (low risk of addiction and dependance)
Xanax
Soma
Darvon
Darvocet
Valium
Ativan
Talwin
Ambien

Schedule 5
cough preparations with less than 200 milligrams of codeine or per 100 milliliters (Robitussin AC), Lomotil, Motofen, Lyrica, Parepectolin

There are more drugs that are classified, these are just examples.

Add medication.. Especially the stimulants can cause OCD .. Especially in those predisposed to the condition

Oh!! Wait! ED! Technically it totally could!! It's a vascular constrictor.. :/

Um... Don't mind me... Carry on....
Then:)

The only adverse effects I ever felt with adderall as a kid was i would feel my skin crawl and felt like my nose was bleeding.

Of course this was when I was 7-12. (2000-2005)

When I became a sophomore in high school (2010) I started on Concerta. It had barely any adverse effects and it was really helping. But I couldn't afford it so I stopped.

And ... That is the reason for your depression IMO.. Your mind is racing and flip flopping and you are trying to compensate but you can't!! I was almost going to suggest you look into ADD on another post ... Really think you need to get back on concerta .. But I'm not a doctor.. I only play one on TV:)
No seriously... It's expensive ... But
Think of the alternatives... Your own body is telling you.. Something is wrong
Listen to it!!!
You already know anyhow... Right???

It's worth the money... Plus there are programs or scholarships .. Per say for people who need it but can't Afford
From the drug compAny directly..
Just sayin:)
ps
ill help you if you need info or help writing it... Or ..

Stupid tap talk cut me off!!! It's so on:)
Ill help you anyway I can SS
It's not as hard or daunting as it seems...
Promise!:)

I found out my town has an 'indigent program' although I'm technically not indigent they can still help me get a consultation with a doctor and possibly a psychiatrist. :)

But any info will help! :)

Also I have a card that was randomly sent to me from 'RxRelief' that apparently covers 70% of most prescriptions.

Those 70% things are sometimes a marketing ploy.. Sometimes not...
Def look into your town program... However.. There are many ways to skin a cat... So to speak...:)
Is it ok if I PM you tomorrow because I may need more info from you
Nothing too personal
Just not anybody's business...

Or not forum fun :)

That's fine.

As for the ploy, I don't think it is because it's a government program.

For sure check that out then!!!! Ill check on the low or no cost company sponsored programs ...

Just got a job working 9 pm to 5 am.

How the heck am I supposed to get used to that schedule??

I start in 3 days.

9 to 5? No problem! it'll take a couple or three weeks to get used to (maybe a little more) and then you'll be fine. As the days start later, try to make sure you're asleep before the sun's up when possible, the morning sun tends to tell your body it's time to be awake for the day. Don't put your hand up for rotating shifts though...

Oh jeez, look what I did here... It was just a random thought, at the time of posting I felt things were just looking 'down' spiritually, emotionally and uh, physically too ;)

I had some kind of nervous breakdown back in '07, at a time when I was working 12-16+ hours a day/6 days a week as a cable guy. Since then I've had some serious cognitive/depression/SAD issues I'm desperately trying to manage. Adderall seems to help me focus and give me the motivation at work, but doesn't really help me outside of work.

This is interesting. I tried Concerta a while back, and found it caused the same issues for me as Adderall had for you. Concerta also had me either at a super happy level, or at the lowest sub-realm of outward, grandiose hatred and suffering one could only imagine... I stopped taking it right after my kids watched in horror as I nearly leveled our kitchen during one of those low moments :(

Whatever you do, stay far far away from Stratera. That is some bad Add medication.

Hmm.... May be worth a try LOL, may do the trick. I was going to suggest Lithium, friends back in the day that used to take that were surprisingly happy, not a care in the world. I mostly need something to take the edge off of my anxiety. Everybody suggests natural medication (LOL) but I HATE that stuff, and it usually makes my situation worse....

Random question of the day..

What the heck are these bumpy things you find on dogs lips??

Define natural.

And if you're depressed I think Stratera will make you worse. It made me extremely depressed.

I took it for about 3 months when I was 10. I was so depressed it took all the energy I could muster just to even watch the neighborhood kids play outside through my window. I got took off of it pretty quick.

And if memory serves me correctly, I think it was temporarily banned from the market because kids and teens were committing suicide on it.

You mean the black serrated looking bumps? I think that's just the way dogs lips look... all my dogs have always had lips like that.

Yeah! I mean do they serve a purpose?

Some dogs don't have them at all. I wonder if anyone knows what purpose the bumps serve?

Really? I didn't know that, I thought they all had them! Unfortunately mine are mostly all in doggie heaven now so I can't go inspect them to see if they really all did have them, or if I just thought they did (which is a distinct possibility :D)

Supposedly most large and purebred dogs have them. Some hybrids don't have them. Pretty strange.
