Ouch that's really bad to do that. Talk to your dentist about it. Otherwise in like 30 years you will have to get teeth pulled. My grandma does it. And she has like half of her teeth left.

way to train on my parade!!:p kidding...thx I know..it sucks...I wear a mouthguard at night..albeit its very small on milded to my bottom teeth,,is es..:p I actually dont notice I have it on...

Houston ISD closes all schools.. Due to ice in the roads.

Actually, no. HISD hasn't said anything yet about closing. They'll say their decision at 5:45 AM. This is basically what HISD is doing on Twitter.

I know snow is a nuisance for many, causing a lot of trouble and all. But this winter here... we haven't had snow at all here so far. Nature simply needs a period of frost and snow. And I love the softened noises, the bright light, and the cats playing with snow, the happy kids' faces.
 
I saw a picture comparison of California between this year and last, and it is not pretty-- no snow pack at all this year.

I am awake at 0130 and the alarm will go off in two and a half hours so I can go to work. There are two restless babies in my bed and guess who gets to put them back to sleep?

...I thought I was done with this kind of thing a good decade ago.

ok I love snow/cold bad weather whatever days...but this is getting ridiculous!!!
I just saw the weather forcast and its supposed to warm up from these sub zero temperatures tonight...just enough for 3 more inches of snow!!!...with 25-30 mile an hour winds..just enough to blow and drift everywhere!

Oh and I guess we are in store for another arctic thro- down ho-down sho-down the beginning of next week...with more snow and -30 -40 wind chill temps....:eek:

I'm cold...holiday is sounding better and better.... just might have to take it early this year:rolleyes::smokingsomb:
 
I also love the cold. But I don't like driving in it because my grandmas car sucks. Its cold because there's no heat in there, the wipers are almost useless, and the scraper used to get the ice of the windshield is half broken.
 
Ask your grandmother if she'll pay for it if you do the rest, being taking it to a mechanic. The wipers anyone can replace. I would say "yes" if it were me. Blades will run around $25 to $40 and the heater would need to be looked at to find the cost. Can't run much more than $200. The bonus would be brownie points for you.

I wasn't going to go there. Regardless, I'd fix grandma's car. It's an excellent gesture to repay for the use of the car. I would just do it. No asking if I should. My wife and I talked about this a bit ago.
