Hey I know this is "android" forums - but is there an off topic thread about something like Chrome for Windows (pc)? There's something I wonder if I can do but don't know how, or how to find the answer.

In case it's OK to pose my question here... I use Chrome on my laptop at home as well as my pc at work. I like being able to access my home bookmarks at work & work bookmarks at home - but I don't like that the history of what I've looked at when I was at home shows up in my history when I'm at work. I'm wondering if there's some way around this. Assuming IT ever decides to snoop around, I don't want them to see that I googled any personal/random stuff that I might look at while I'm at home.

I use FireFox which has a delete history on exit option. This tidbit might help you with Chrome.

@bjacks: I already have it set not to sync history, but it seems to do it anyway - any sites I visit from my home laptop show on my work pc.

@whitehat: Hey, thanks! I already had the chrome setting set the way that article suggested, I'll check out that add on later. ☺

I hate when that happens. Last week at Wendy's, I ordered $3 of food, but they accidentaly swiped my card on the guy behind me's transaction($10). When I called them out on it, their idea of fixing it was to simply swipe my card for my transaction as well.

Finally got my laptop shipped out today at the UPS store. $45 for UPS ground from Vegas to Nevada + box & packing. It's a damn crime that ASUS doesn't pay for shipping costs. I shouldn't be $0.01 out of pocket for this repair.

Hey... how come this Youtube link I have in my signature goes to a "404 not found" page instead of the Youtube page? It came right from the "share" link on Youtube & when I put it directly into my browser it goes where it should...
