Good luck with that.

I did Fresno, CA to Norfolk, VA to Bahrain, UAE to an aircraft carrier in the Indian Ocean, which eventually ended up in San Diego (via Fremantle, Sydney, Thailand, Hawaii). So I am a day younger than the calendar thinks I am.

My rant for today is about an adult child who refuses to get a driver's license. Perfectly capable of doing so, just would prefer to use other family members as personal chauffeurs.

My Caseology One-Touch CD Slot Universal Smartphone Car Mount Holder *breath* arrived yesterday. Seems to have good build quality. Not sure if it goes far enough into the CD slot, especially to hold my G3.

I bet it will, I just looked that mount up & it looks similar to the Mountek CD slot phone holder I use, it holds my G3 just fine. :)
 
Gotta love those hellrides.... I did Fresno-Virginia Beach in something like 54 hours. Slept through most of North Carolina (and I was driving); decided then and there that I'd better quit being stupid before I wound up dead.

Road trips ARE fun. If you have time to do them proper. Pace yourself, stay in hotels, visit tourist attractions.

When your purpose of the drive is to get from A-B in as little time as possible, then it can suck. I was in a crappy little 90's Saturn the whole way too....could hardly walk when I was done. Stopped only for fuel & food.
 
LOL! That reminds me..we used to have these wine tasting centers all along the highway!! They were easy on easy off like rest areas..with signs..St Julian Wine tasting center 10 miles ahead etcc.....every 30 miles or so..Um......Lets just say that was a really bad idea!
but made for some pretty crazy road trips..:eek:
