I wouldn't say it's similar to those movies besides the whole Mars thing. It's more like Cast Away on Mars, if Tom Hanks was a MacGyver style super genius who could science his way out of any situation.

When I was reading the book I definitely wasn't picturing Matt Damon as the geeky engineer/botanist with mad science skills, but that's a common thing with book to movie adaptations.

I read the book after seeing the first trailer, so I pictured Matt Damon the entire time.
 
I miss my old neighborhood.. I've had to drive through it often in the last couple weeks.. I forgot how pretty the street is in the fall with the canopy of trees! Can't imagine being in such a small house now after getting used to having space here...and besides most of the old gang have also moved so it wouldn't be the same anyhow...

But still... I do miss those days:)
On a side note.. I got a new car! Pick it up Friday!! [emoji2][emoji2]

A jeep Cherokee trail hawk light silver ish :) it's pretty sweet! I was actually looking to get a Cherokee latitude but .. The trail hawk is 2015 model fully loaded and they want to move it off the lot for the 2016's so I got it for a steal plus hubbys uncle works for Chrysler so added employee discount as well!

Haha!! I wish!! Can u even imagine winning 300+ million dollars? On second thought Not sure I'd even want to!! No... I'd take it :) but only cuz I'd open the best animal rescue and sanctuary ever! I'd go to Tahiti for a month first though.:)

lights flashing on and off when I walk through the aisle at the store

And if I should rob a bank when this happens
