When you live in a place that's like Nov. 5th almost every day, and much more, you tend to lose interest. Anyway retail fireworks in the UK tend to be rather boring these days, thank you Fireworks Act 2003.

Could be. It looks like an old MG with a Spanish number plate. They just use whatever library pictures, and you have to match it with the caption, that's basically it. So a car driving away with people waving is not "ni hao".

Two nights in a row, I slept well. At my age, it means I've drooled heavily on my pillow, but still: I'm refreshed.

Old enough to remember when getting a tattoo was an act of rebellion, not conformity. ;)

When I was a lad, you could go down to the corner drugstore and find a vacuum-tube tester and buy the more popular models on the spot to fix your color television.

I am not quite old enough to have been able to see the Beatles live, nor was I at Woodstock.

I am not a Boomer, but I am at the bleeding edge of Gen X.
