Random Thought Thread

It was 70 all last weekend in Ohio before dropping to 60 today. I was wondering why all of the CNN anchors were bundled up in Vegas when I caught some of the debate coverage lol. It's dropping into the 30's here this weekend, though.

If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute and it will change. lol
 
Well, they were indoors at the debate. But my understanding is they keep the temperature in the room in the 60's for these debates so that the candidates don't sweat.

I was supposed to be there, couldn't make it though due to work.

While the temp may be low, those lights heat u up quickly, kinda like shining a heat lamp on ya..
 
I won this in a raffle. Kind of takes me back. Unfortunately, could not interest my two daughters in building it.

Before the debate they were standing outside pimping for ratings all day...
 
I've just had some JW people knocking at my door. To be honest I was disappointed. All they did was hand me this leaflet, which actually didn't tell me much, just some references to bible passages about why God allows suffering.
I would have welcomed a discussion about why God hates homosexuals, and if God is such an omnipotent being, and is the creator of all things, why aren't we all perfect?

I got annoyed with them a long time ago and tried to convince them to join my "church". I can use thee and thou pretty well and after 5 minutes they decided I was nuts and not worth it.

Haha! FSM, that's a new one on me. About as credible as any other religion though. But I thought Jedi was the predominant religion these days :p
 
The JW's around here have been really nice to me. I talk with them for about 5 minutes, make polite small talk, and then they go on their way. I can sympathize with them, I'm a mormon, so I was a missionary for 2 years.
