Anybody else going to Deadpool this weekend? I am hitting an 8:30 showing tonight. (off work tomorrow so not worried about a late movie followed by some thoughtful discussion with the friends also attending :D)
I am really very stoked about it, very much looking forward to it. This year is shaping up to be quite the blockbuster. Deadpool, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, Ghostbusters, X-Men, Captain America Civil War .... Geek Paradise I tell you!

And that's not to mention all the other good movies coming out this year....
 
Just a thought, but do you think we have become afraid of being critical, for fear of offending someone? I've often heard it said "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything". Criticism often comes across as not nice, but it's possible to be critical in a constructive way isn't it? I guess it's all in the tone you use. I see some really harsh words being used on some forums, with people getting all aggressive and opinionated. I think an electronic form of communication makes insensitive comments more likely.

There, now I've finally admitted it.

Saw Watchmen in the theater too. The only reason they got an R was for nudity. Is Ryan Reynolds going to be nude? I hope not.
 
Had lunch with (almost) identical twin ladies today. Almost their fiftieth birthday, they looked a little different but sounded damn near the same. If I shut my eyes, I couldn't tell who was saying what. Except for what they were saying, of course. I was mesmerized by them and offered to buy a another one.

I watched a really good youtube video of a guy describing what they believe the issue is (likely an integer underflow at boot time resulting in a really (really) large date that does the bad things to an iPhone when set back to 1970, etc...

Seems like this is (obviously) being very well publicized...hopefully Apple will push-out a fix to the affected devices quickly :).
