I looked on Spotify for Prince's music, but there are hardly any songs available. It seems he used a music streaming service called Tidal.

He was one of the few artists who absolutely refused to let Weird Al Yankovic parody his music.

... so Al did one in his 'style': "Traffic Jam"

His complete discography is available on QQ Music and Baidu Music, legally as well. Although that's probably down to blanket, record company licensing rather than his own divisions.

I use Music Online Pro, which just allowed me to DL virtually everything he had available at will. But Purple Rain.. That was harder to find in the list. PM me for info if you can't find it.

I don't think I have any Prince albums anymore... Had one or two on cassette decades ago. My life has continued quite well without.

I'm pretty sure there's quite some Prince vinyl in our collection.
Our national tv is broadcasting Sign o the times and Purple Rain this evening.

I met him in the 80s!! [emoji854] very nice man... Super shy
I only met him for like 5 minutes but It made an impression on me that he was a total gentleman polite and soft spoken very talented
My friend stayed in touch with him through the years
She's since passed
His songs remind me of her

Also:) since I'm rambling!! I tried brandy the other night.. I kind of liked it
But it made feel sick...
Although I could see sipping a glass and writing a novel:)
Tastes kind of like butter
Made out of scotch:)
Plus I really think I've grown up a lot in the last couple years... Especially this year

In just over three weeks, this house has everything repaired ... new ceilings ...

Sitting around the new house, I had a recollection:

What Was The Purpose Of ‘Popcorn’ Ceilings?

It’s a feature of older tract homes that you don’t see much of these days. Rebbaz asked this Good Question: What was the purpose of “popcorn” ceilings in the 1950s and 60s?

ANSWER: According to Pleasanton contractor, Jeff Debernardi, the ceilings were used to cut down on reflective noise and to cover up seams and tape marks in wallboard ceilings. The ceilings were usually was made of chalk and wallboard compound, but some mixtures contained asbestos.

...and now that the popcorn had been removed, I miss it.
