My mother's boyfriend got into a car wreck, although his trailer part of the truck got somewhat ruined, the semi behind them got pushed back about fifty feet away, both survived the accident, although the girl's hood of the car got popped up and just had a real bad day. My mother's boyfriend is upset too.

It's been a long time since I have last posted here. What have I been up to you may ask? I've been busy working my tail off at a local auto repair shop over the last three years, I have married my girl of almost 11 years and the two of us are going to Alaska in July on a 10 day cruise.
Life is good @NightHawk877 , Congrats on the marriage. I have a good friend that took a cruise up the coast of Alaska. He was super impressed with the entire adventure. Have fun!

Do you get an audible alert as well? My car shoots a single loud beep and illuminates a too-bright yellow warning light on the bottom edge of the fuel gauge. It’s easy to see even in broad daylight and is nearly blinding at night; I used to cover it on long drives at night to preserve my night vision. (And no, I never ran out of gas!)

Answering machines were almost a necessity back in the day. We've still got a landline and the built-in voicemail is certainly an improvement.
We were on the no call list for the state and the nation and had to resort to an answering machine to screen calls back in the day. Cutting the landline was difficult for us. We talked it for a year or two before we finally pulled the plug. I don't know why it was so difficult. I suppose it was a lack of trust in the cell industry and having a landline our entire lives. I'm glad we finally moved on. Twenty plus messages a day and often not a single one desired pushed us over the edge. Being without was a bit awkward for a very short while and then never missed again. A far worse experience is changing an email address.
We've still got a couple things tied in with our landline number. I'm trying to get a couple medical accounts changed over to a different email but it appears that no one can tell me how. I could probably just create a new account but I'd hate to loose any information.
