My friend is getting a j0b at a Mcd's just d0wn the r0ad fr0m here, and it is 0ne 0f the 0ff away fr0m the mainland city, but glad he is g0ing t0 finally get a real 0ccupati0n 0ver all, I am happy t0 see him t0day ab0ut n00n time 0ver all, i sat d0wn and just had a nice lunch with my m0ther, it was the left 0ver chicken p0t pie I ph0t0graphed 0n here s0me time ag0... Still 0ver thinking 0f h0w many times I'm in rec0very but the g00d news is my siacttica is alm0st clear f0r landing and my ankle feels a little better t0day, I g0t the g00d news fr0m my chri0pratic earlier like a spell ag0 yesterday, 0r was it the last time I have seen him? I am happy f0r the chief as well.

This has been an incredible day for the Darling Bride and me. In late March, we got an unexpected text from our long-estranged daughter: telling us that she had eloped and gotten married. We immediately replied with how happy we were for her, and that the photos she sent us from their wedding were so incredible. Today, we had the privilege of sitting down at lunch with her and her new husband. This was an hour after dropping off a couple of things to our son... so today was the first day in over a decade that we got to see both our offspring in the same day. Words can't describe how utterly overjoyed I am about it.

Good news, Chief.

We're not able/allowed to see one of our daughters as well as 2 of our granddaughters. I really hope that we don't have to wait for 10 years, I'm not thinking that I'll be around for that long.
 
I have a feeling that, while I saw it as a joyous reunion, she saw it as saying "goodbye" to her biological father. I've tried texting her all day... and the text fails every time, leading me to believe that she blocked me. As positive as I thought the lunch was, I now view that last, long tight hug as her version of a farewell. I truly hope it's just a technical glitch: but something in my spirit tells me otherwise.
 
My daughter?
I hate that she feels like everything wrong with her life is our fault, but that's her prerogative. What really hurts is that she's pushing those thoughts onto my granddaughters, especially the oldest, who we kept more that her own mom did when she was little.

Maybe, one day, she'll come to realize the truth.
 
I hope that your daughter will come around. Time is a great dissolving agent and can wash away a lot of anguish. I've lived long enough to see that children grow up to see things through their own eyes. Don't give up on your granddaughters.

There are two Kroger stores (Dillons) in town. The one close to my home is an old style grocery mart. They built a super center across town a couple of decades ago to take it's place but patrons kept the little store busy and open. Around ten years ago they built a mega Dillons market that sells everything from socks to pickles. It, too, was intended to close the little store but didn't get the job done. The little store has close parking and less walking between items which makes it a go-to for seniors. I shop there because it's close and I know half the people that work there. Today, Mitch the meat market guy, informed me that the little store sold a 32 million dollar lottery ticket. My neighbor, likely ten years my senior, buys tickets and scratch offs daily from the store. Too bad he wasn't the winner. I'm betting it was a local winner. The store is off the beaten path nowadays and sees primarily regular local patrons.
 
I am ab0ut 80% better 0n my ankle since yesterday, I have rested it up with0ut much excerising s0 my ankle was pretty much amazing at my sister's and when I was at h0me yesterday, we had tac0 bell f0r dinner last night, n0 pizza left 0vers yay, it was amazing t0 n0t w0rry ab0ut 0rdering pizza f0r a change, my sister menti0ned 0f m0m's day at the restraunt and I just said "I am 0n my jet pack and blasting 0ff, t0tally ign0ring y0u lalalaaa..." hahaaa... Any0ne see the c0mets early this m0rning at sun rise?
 
Wehtn t0 my final therapist sessi0n t0day, she kn0ws my ankle is a l0t str0nger, she mesured it f0r full range and everything, but still slightly hurts 0n the b0tt0m and ar0und the right side...Least I d0 n0t have t0 see my therapist anym0re..Self h0me care.
