After a couple of days, mom cat moved her kitties out of the cage thing where they have been since birth. We cleaned the bedding since it was vacant and put the kitties back in the cage. The cat watched carefully while we were handling her babies but didn't protest. One by one she picked them up and moved them back to the entrance to the closet where she had put them. We tried a couple of additional times with the same result. She just doesn't want them in that cage thing. I ordered a kitty or puppy playpen. I hope it meets with her approval. Just hanging out by my golf clubs doesn't seem like a good nursery.

As Master of Ceremonies for our town's Patriot Day ceremony (which will be held Saturday morning), I've been agonizing for months over the balance of raw emotion I feel is required for the 25th anniversary of the event; and a sense of honor and gratitude for the dedication of our First Responders who, today, stand ready to assist us at all hours of the day and night. It's now finished and will be a brief, but very emotional, event.

The pet playpen was delivered today. It was easy enough to set up. It is like a tent with mesh sides and top with a zippered door and lid. Momma cat wasn't at all liking it and immediately grabbed a baby and removed it from the pen. I put the baby back with the other three, put mom in there with them and zipped the door closed. She can jump out but I don't think she will try that with a baby in her mouth. That was six hours ago and so far mom and kittens seem to be happy. They have been nursing and sleeping and seem comfortable in their new digs.

ZetaOffice Link, I have downloaded it to my pc many moons ago and it is perfect, no auto fill or anything, but the only thing it regulary does was see the black box when typing up words, but it is alright... No word pick up.

If people would write down the date and time on each time they unbox anything, and lable timestamp on a sticky note, when they last seen a dvd, or take photos of each episode
like I do, the entire world would of feel better of themselves.

Well... our AC guy is awesome. He showed up to help with our unit even though other people's AC didn't work at all (maybe because he knows our checks will clear). He found a small refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil that can't be repaired: and, lucky us, the warranty had expired. He charged up the unit with more refrigerant that should last us until a brand new unit can be installed (not that much more than the cost of a coil replacement). The new unit is lower tonnage but higher efficiency, so that's a plus: and it starts a new 10-year warranty. Thankfully, our CD had just matured in the last week so we were still in the window to move money out to our money market account without penalty.
