Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Grinds my gears to get an invitation for a baby shower at noon, 2 weeks after Christmas! The baby isn't due until March...couldn't you wait another 2 weeks??!!! Oh, AND I have to leave work early to go. Although I told my immediate family I'm not leaving too early because I am NOT missing almost a whole day of work for this thing. The only reason they are planning it for this early is because my other cousin is also pregnant and they want this shower done before hers. /rant
 
Nurses that leave their junk all over the counter after drawing up meds. Doctors that leave their dirty otoscope tips all over the patient's room.
There's a garbage can less than ten feet from you for Pete's sake!
 
I absolutely ABHORRE it when people don't use a turn signal when passing you! In Georgia, it seems no one was taught to drive properly, they just cut you off, without a turn signal! I've almost wrapped my car around a pole thanks to these people!!!

Yeah, no. Its basically sudden death on the highways here. Someone hits someone and an announcer goes "Player 1! KO!". And it just gets rowdy. You get cut off all time here; so you get used to it pretty quickly.

They know how to "drive" (enough to get a license). It's simply the "ME" attiude prevalent nowadays with some people. "My text message is more important than your rules" "I have to be first"

Some are exceedingly dumb. Most locals know which lights are longer than usual and will slow down gradually to avoid sitting there. These idiots have to be first, and sit for the whole light, revving the engine. It's good for the state fuel tax and brake mechanics. You can do most of this without hypermiling, just common sense and a good memory.

The Vulcan did traffic systems for a while.

I love it when I get on the computer to work and find someone has taken my file because they didn't want what was available. So now I'm stuck with crap because they think they're better than me or something? Then I get in trouble for making a stink about it. *deep breath*... At least I have a job is what I keep telling myself
 
I cannot stand my phone at times. Honestly my mobile data does not work 99% of the time on my Verizon GS3. I only ever get 3g when I send mms. It pisses me off just typing this.

I Just had to learn one thing About fractions, though I failed the quiz, and have to take it l again. Apparently On the quiz there can be more than One correct answer but they are only looking for the Correct answer. you all know I love computers, but when they are picky like this it irritates me, yes 3/6 is the Same as 0.5 and 1/2 and 500 / 1000

Don't worry. I get them wrong sometimes.. The trick is to find equivalent fractions/decimals. And simplify the fractions to smallest form and turn decimals to fractions.

The thing about a calculator is they don't give me fractions. How am I suppose to just know 34/ 51 is also 2/3

That's a lowest common denominator problem, learned that stuff when I was about 12. :D

You might be using the wrong calculator. Try a Casio student scientific one, they can solve vulgar fractions. :thumbup: ...probably an app for that.
