Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I thought Stinky was counting on the support of his minions who have survived for millions (predate dinosaurs) of years and probably will survive climate change and nuclear accidents.

Thanksgiving day. And I'm doing homework.
We're suppose to have a dinner and family and friends around us. All we have is selfishness. Family friends out at best buy hoping for a TV and the family is yet to be seen. They cancelled.

Thanksgiving dinner, I'm abit disappointed with. All everyone talked about was the food except my grandma, who blamed my little sister needing new boots, and that why my parents couldn't come.
My brother is asleep, (but he must be tire from working all day.)
My sister didn't come.
Family friend getting a new TV

Ya, the food was good, but where my family?
 
Not one of my wife's brothers or sisters showed up for thanksgiving dinner at her mom's house.

One of those brothers actually lives there.

More food than I can consume in the next two weeks (maybe more, considering my 'dysentery diet'). The dogs will be eating well this December...

I don't think he thinks anything bad about you, it seemed tongue-in-cheek to me. Sounded like he was drinking a few himself. If he didn't like you he probably wouldn't be texting you on Thanksgiving.

Lol, no he was at work at the time of this message, and I'm like his favorite employee. But it still annoys me that he thinks I actually drink, smoke, and have sex, because I don't. I just have kinda long hair, which I do need a haircut.
Though I'm laid back, that doesn't mean I use drugs. You can't come to conclusions based on appearance. Lord I know that from experience.

From a cat 51 years here: sfbloodbrother, I remember a time when we all tried to get along, and people didn't judge a book by its cover. There was such a thing called 'community', and though rules were enforced, and more strict - people weren't as polarized then, and generally more free-thinking. You didn't have to worry about 'stranger danger', and you didn't have to lock your doors. Though I'm not a fan of organized religion (of any kind, because humankind usually edits the real message), your boss/coworker should check out the Book Of Luke, in the Christian New Testament:
Luke 6:37
Judge not, lest ye be judged
Condemn not, for ye shall be condemned
Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven

One thing that really grinds me is having people I know who never call me or ask me to come over or hang out. Even though these people consider themselves my "friends" I only regard them as "acquaintances".
 
When the drunk housekeeper asks me to make sure i put the towels in the dryer, then i ask her to make sure she brings down all the laundry by 12 (hotel rule) then she said she always does when in fact it was 3 yesterday, 2 the day before and 230 the day before that. So i called her on it, in front of the relief manager (who has no power) and the relief manager goes off on me, saying im not being professional, lol, but yelling and cussing at me and threatening to fire me IS professional? And allowing a drunk to work and operate industrial washers and dryers? I dont want no blood in my laundry room!
