Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

When people put toilet paper in backwards, it grinds my gears. Toilet paper goes outward!! When it goes inward, it's harder to get out and it touches the wall. I tell people to put it in the right way and nobody listens! I get so worked up over it...
Also, stupid people grind my gears.
Spiders too!

Oh definitely not. lol Studio apartments in the UWS for that price definitely wont have rats. It's a pretty solid starter apartment for the UWS. Someday I'll move into a 2 bedroom in Chelsea!
 
Netflix not wanting to stream correctly in Firefox. I have no desire to watch The Doctor (David Tennant) and Rose pop and lock through an entire episode. Works like a freaking dream in IE though. The only time I have voluntarily used it since I built this system.

Sometimes you HAVE to put the TP on backwards. We have a low window in one bath, the TP roll is on the vanity directly across from the window. If we put the TP on outwards, the wind will blow it all over the bathroom. It's also easier for a cat to unroll it if it's facing out. We have both wind and cats and like open windows.

I don't want to use a virtual machine to run programs I use almost daily such as Photoshop. I don't see any real advantage on getting used to Linux when Windows 7 is a great OS. Convince me. :p

I laughed when I heard: "Linux is only free if your time is worthless" for the first time. Changing the boot animation on a Linux Distro probably isn't that simple either. Just a guess though.

Infraction? What rule did you break? ;)

I remember years ago, Linux was hard to install. Now we have distributions like Ubuntu that are as easy to install as Windows 7. Do you suppose there would be fewer Linux supporters among the great unwashed if installing the OS was as difficult as it once was?

I guess MS got annoyed at all those changers that were out for W98.
My boot up screens were all my cats with rather ratty sayings. I had had it with that pixelated MS icon.

I'm now running Ubuntu on one drive, and XP on the other.
 
The pink I have. The stomach virus I had Monday. The trucking that waited til the last minute to tell me I needed different financing. Good thing I didn't quit my job. Can get my CDL through. It and have a good job..
