Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

If it's going to be cold and winter..I say let's get this party started !! and bring on the snow......

*so I can let the silent begging and pleading in my head begin... anxiously waiting...and watching..."come on pleaseplease ..snow day.. snow day.. snow day!!!!..":rolleyes:

and yes I am a "grown up" kind of:rolleyes:...with two boys...but I love snow days more than they do!!! I wake up early and watch the news and say come on..come... on ....say our school....I jump up and down and dance in a circle when they announce no school! I make them have snowball fights with me..and go sledding...and skiing...and make cookies and drink hot chocolate...and...:D

plus ...I have a jeep:):P

That's what good neighbors are for! I have mine over for wine and stuff..and help them out when I can...take their garbage cans in...pick up their dog from the groomers....pet sit their cat...do some computer work..or tutor their kid...bring them my famous lasagna...take their elderly mother for a hair up dooo:) pierce someones ears...stitch someone up...or whatever

and I have never had to shovel...not once:) and have never even had to ask...:)

I am SURE you have a nice neighborly gentleman who would KILL to shovel your snow:) I see your picture:D
 
I don't have a jeep, so I hate snow. if I could stay inside and watch it from the window I would be ok with it, but I hate driving in that crap and digging my car out of the pile the snowplow buries it in is no fun either. (No driveway, on-street parking)

I think it may be time to be sending my Nexus 7 2013 model back to Google for a refund. So I do love the tablets a lot, the touch screen is having serious problems. I would be typing a reply on this forum and out of nowhere it would start typing in a completely different spot, somewhere I did not even touch. Sometimes the keyboard with not register anything. The thing is I don't want to send this back because I'll mess it. I also don't want to pay for shipping charges which will suck.







Grrrrrr my classmates cheated on the final exam today. We have to write the essay in class, but if you bring your own computer, then you have to email the final to the professor by midnight. That gives them like 6 hours to revise it, look at their notes and get a better grade then me. Who used a Pen and paper.

7" so far and its still snowing.. Im a lot like you, lol, love getting out in it and playing, as does my daughter. No school yesterday or today so the fun is on! :-)

Grinds my gears: people who know they cant drive in snow but get out in it anyway and drive all crazy, there are no curbs in Branson!

No but the student is supposed to email the teacher right after the class. They aren't supposed to get an extra 6 hours to write the essay. That's just not fair. I only have 1 hour and 15 minutes to write the essay while people on the computers get 6 hours. If the system allows it then ill bring my Chromebook and get a hundred percent.

heads up!!:) life isn't fair...and people will always find a short cut or a cheat...sometimes they will get away with it...sometimes not...but you did what you were supposed to do...try not to worry about what other people are doing......it just doesn't matter!!! for true..because when it all boils down..they have to live their own lives... as do you...my advise is to keep your eye on the prize...and don't ever look back!!

If the student is supposed to email the teacher right after class, then the teacher should specify the time. After all, there is a timestamp on emails. Or the teacher could use edmodo for student submissions.
 
Technically it's not really cheating if your prof know and allows it. Anyway, don't worry about it. In the greater scheme of things, it doesn't matter. Plus I think your prof will think better of you for actually doing the exam inside the class, which was the way it was supposed to be.
