I think ever since covid, nobody bathes, cleans, eats at restaurants past 8pm, drives responsibly, dresses up anymore, works for a living, or uses common sense anymore.
Hence the need to offer a spray to mask your laziness to take a shower, lol!!!!!
Yeah no kidding, I can really smell the BO across the entire shopping centers hahaa.

Barely yesterday I have updated everything on my pc, and still my monitor glitches like I am in the matrix..

Should of coughed up the blue pill.

I don't know why, but Nomorobo stopped working for me. In the past month I've received several spam & scam calls per day: and they all ring through. I sent a list of the numbers, marked by Caller ID as "Suspected Spam", to tech support. All they could tell me was that the numbers hadn't been reported as spam and, therefore, weren't blocked.

Since I receive a lot of legitimate calls from unfamiliar numbers, I can't put the phone in lockdown and restrict it to my contacts. While I was presented with the option of Nomorobo Max, which screens every call in real time and only passes through the legitimate ones, it's $5/month instead of the $2 for basic.

I can do pretty much the same thing with Text Call, built into the phone, for free! I have to actively control it, but at least I'm not paying a subscription for something to do it for me (and every once in awhile, I feel like having fun by answering the calls and messing with them).

Text Call is pretty cool once it's set up, and a few custom responses are saved.

I have a friend and his sweetie staying at the cabin for a couple of weeks. They are painting and cleaning and enjoying the spring weather in the woods. He text a bit ago. I guess there was some excitement at the cabin. Someone tried to dump a stolen car in the river just up the way from the cabin. A front wheel drive vehicle with the front wheels hanging out into space with the car in gear and running was discovered by the owner of the land I'm leasing from. Last text was the police were there saying the auto was stolen and a wrecker was pulling it back to the road and no doubt impounding it. It isn't obvious that the road to the cabin goes to the cabin and borders the river. Pretty strange.

I undone the accidently search for what I need with fixing my monitor still, went to the CAB file thing that I have to find a perfect usb to stick it in,
I have updated everything too, makes me wonder what kind of anthrax curse did I do with a stranger that causing this glitching too much?

Our favorite restaurant is closing. Stroud's Restaurant & Bar will be closing their doors after serving the Wichita area for over thirty years. They serve the best fried chicken and chicken fried steak in town. The last time we dined there I made the comment to my wife that the place wasn't busy. The quality of the food and service was still top notch. It's sad to see them close.

Yeah, the good ole country cooking type places continue to struggle the most it seems. Cracker Barrel is pretty much begging for people to come there. Anytime we have to drive into Memphis we drive by one and it is never busy during the hours it should be or used to be. After Covid their clientele just never came back.

We as a family are in kind of in the same boat, we don't go out to eat near what we used to before COVID and the Shrinkflation days. Portions are half the size of what they were and the quality of meat especially steaks and burgers are a joke. Not to mention the piss pore service you get at a lot of places and some automatically charge for gratuity. You can already tell the type of service you're going to get when they tell you up front gratuity is automatically charged. Plus, alot more restaurants are charging the 3% fee if you use a credit card.

We still have a Crackerbarrel in town too, really down to Earth meals over all. Something for everyone to shop for, that is where I got my muscel relaxing kitten.

My wife is in a constant battle with her blood sugars. She works at it and doesn't cheat on her diet. I'm proud of her but it creates a lot of dining problems. It's impossible for her to find her low carb and low sugar desires with anything tasty at a restaurant. She has zero desire to dine out anymore.
I still enjoy a well prepared meal at a nice establishment now and then. The few times we've gone out lately it's been disappointing. I can prepare a better meal at home for a great deal less money. And my wife can do her own thing for dinner which is right up her alley.

We both retired covid year so it's not fair to blame our change of dinning habits on the.... whatever that fiasco was. Dinning at the few places that pleased both of us was fairly common when we were both working. Once we had the time on our hands, eating our own cooking became more attractive.
