I actually did that and I am beyond happy.
ie bought the galaxy nexus(gsm) and went to straight talk and wow I didn't realize how incredibly slow, and I do mean SLOW boost data was until I switched.....BIG difference.
Not to mention no carrier bloatware.
The s2 is a nice phone indeed,but it is nothing compared to mine, and its even less appealing when you factor in boosts slow and often spotty service.

GREAT!!! I'm sure you are enjoying that fine phone. My only issue with the Galaxy Nexus is the lack of the microSD slot. If not for that, I think I would have bought it already. Now, I'm just going to wait and see what else comes to market, or another price drop on it
. I heard rumors that the next Nexus phones will be out late this fall, and there will be 5 different versions (multiple OEM's) for the 5th edition. This would be great. Of course that would mean an update in the Android OS as well (just assuming).
