:( Im tired of rumors and all. I'm in love with the thunderbolt but the Incredible is soooo sexy! Any comfort or something?:(

If you don't have to upgrade so quickly, I would advise waiting until after the supposed release date of the phone, which is the 10th. IF there are no release date or the phone isn't released then, then you've lost only 10 days.

If you're tired of rumors and all, don't follow the forum. I've been trying to do the same. Just wait until BGR or Engaget post the VZW news release.

you have made it this long, I'm sure you can make it a few days or weeks to get the TB. Nobody likes a quitter..

I was waiting to switch from Sprint for the TB, got impatient and picked up a dinc, I plan on returning it in the next two weeks, god willing the damn thing comes out by then. Honestly, this phone doesn't show its age at all though, much smoother than my evo, but I miss my kickstand and big screen...

Hardly any difference between the Incredible and the Incredible S.
I have the Incredible and wouldn't even consider the S.

Comfort? No.

However, I myself decided to embrace the DX I got in January. I ran out of "caring" whether the TB comes out soon, or ever. The DX does everything I want. I just received a huge refund ($100+) on most of the cost due to a coupon and the latest price drop. I have an Otterbox, a FM transmitter and a dock heading my way now. I am also looking at rooting it in the near future, just because I CAN.

Dunno if it is comfort, but personally I can wait till next september with the DX, and I suspect the Dinc could do the same for you. Let go of the ridiculous hype surrounding this phone.

What would a TB do for you that a Dinc (or DX for that matter) NOT do, beyond an incomplete 4G LTE coverage?

Seriously. Buy the Dinc (or DX) and save yourself a ton of money on the handset, and all the accessories that are tried and true. Revisit the current hype in 20 months.

Well, there's nothing wrong with the Incredible. It's a great phone. I guess it depends on what you're coming from. If you already have an Incredible or an X and are looking to upgrade, you'd most definitely wait. If you're coming from, say, an Ally, INC FTW!

The DX, the Incredible are still fine phones. Nothing to talk you down from. You just have to weigh your options. Do you want big and 4g? Is it worth it? If so, wait. If not, don't. They're all fine phones. Let us know.

I am also waiting for the TB to come out, could not go with out a phone any longer so I picked up a DINC from best buy for 99.99 on a 2 year contract will be final in 14 days however best buy has a 30 day equipment return policy so you can exchange for any phone and pay the difference. I would suggest you do that

Why not get a cheap GoPhone from AT&T instead of getting a smartphone and then fretting about return policies, restocking fees and things like that?

I wouldn't waste money on year old technology personally, but if you're into it...good for you

On the flip side, he most likely saved $150-200 off of what a TB will be, for something that is doing exactly what he needs it to do. There is a point where paying a huge premium just to have "technology" that the average person will never even notice the difference of, becomes ludicrous.

Do the DInc & DX support flash websites though? In reading the spec's I think the DInc supports flash 'light', not sure what that is.

The Droid Incredible supported flash lite before Froyo came out. With Froyo came full Flash 10.1 support. Both the X and Incredible have complete flash support today.

I'm also looking at the X. Verizon phone rep confirmed the X is discontinued. They're available until they sell out.

so i was just looking into gettin a DInc on a one year contract so i can upgrade again in nov. but then if i go 2 years i can get the x for 50 bucks... damn it....
