Does it not p*ss you off that if you have a champagne model you are treated like the poor cousin ? I waited ages for mine to come in and finally gave up and took the amethyst.
How did you get Tracking information, I called and complained on Wednesday 5/2 and they said it can take a while and wasn't able to give me any tracking info.
Mine has been in "shipped" status for like 3 weeks now. This is total bullshit, I should have it by now.

Mine has said "your application has been submitted" for 6 days now. And I have grey prime.

Check out my thread here. Chances are your package is like theandies and mine just sitting on "Initiated". Asus has no idea whats going on I've called 4 times noone has been able to help me, so I opened a complaint with the BBB.

I got mine yesterday, much to my surprise since the status has not changed on the ASUS web page. Mine is champagne, so they must have started shipping them already.
Same here, but mine came Friday
Also got my Gumdrop case.
Like the case. The dongle will likely never get used.

I was just thinking. Since most, as well as me, feel the same way regarding this GPS dongle, shouldn't we have complained more about a wifi range fix instead of gps since most of us don't care to use it?

Mine's an amethyst. Submitted application on April 18th and still nothing... Hasn't progressed past "Successfully submitted application". Not impressed with how long this is taking...

I'm guessing after a certain date they had a large number of applications and are trying to fulfill them i guess.
I order mine on the 17th and it arrived last Friday, chances are yours will ship either end of this week or early next.

Got mine yesterday - Champagne. Picked up satellites with no problem now. I ordered mine on 4/19.

Got mine yesterday, but just put it on this morning. I'll have to play with it later because right now, I'm in a metal building which isn't so great for receiving GPS signals.
I will say that before the dongle, I got absolutely nothing here. Now it seems like it finds some satellites, but the signals aren't strong enough to lock onto any of them.

I got my GPS dongle today. I never received any sticker on my door but the apt office told me I had a package. From the shipping label it was shipped on April 27. I ordered it on April 17. I have a champagne model. The status still says "Your application has been submitted".

Anyone in the UK received the Champagne Dongle ?

Received my dongle today. Attaching some photos of it with screenshot of GPS test. I don't know if it improved tho but i guess it did.

I ****ing love you and of course XDA. According to the trick and Fedex, it's on it's way and is in Sacramento CA. Should be here May 25th. Cool beans to whoever figured this out.
Now I'm just worried it's going to be the wrong color LMAO.

Nope, your data and apps will be intact after the reset. I've done it a few times with no problems.
Cold boot also works well. Hold the PWR and down volume at the same time until you see and Android Icon and an icon that says wipe data (or somethng like that, and dont' figure out how to move to that icon). Once you see tiny writting in the top left corner you can let go. After you let go the Prime will boot as normal. Not sure how this is different than the reset button and I've only done it once after ICS upgrade but it works.
I received mine about a week ago and unable to lock onto any satellites could view about eight but not lock on. See this about reset and tried now I see 8 to 9 and lock on to 8 or 9 thanks for the reset info worked like a champ.
