How many minutes are you looking to have on a plan? I have VZW with 450 minutes and unlimited text plus data and its around $95 with taxes. I am in Kentucky and came from at&t because of their terrible service and lack of 3g. I can go almost anymore now and have 3g with VZW. You really do get what you pay for as far as quality of the network.

It's $135 for 450, unlimited text and 20gb data, quite a bit. Yeah, I think sprints SGII is looking good.

What do you guys think about the Note? Sorry for my indeceiveness, just I want my first android phone to be awesome. I also understand hardware's always evolving so you can never have the "best" for more than a week.

The note has the best specs of any phone available, if you don't mind the size then get the note, you won't be disappointed.

Also I don't agree, if you choose wisely you can have the best all rounder for months but that also depends on the timing of your purchase. The note will be regarded as the best performer probably until Quad Core based phones are released next year.

I'm not big on the note just due to it's size. If you like the size it is a great device.

I'm on my Sprint GSII right now and I have 4G, I have no signal on my Nexus S on Tmobile right now. That is really sad considering I'm about 10 minutes from Tmobile's HQ right now. Their coverage is pathetic!

Well I looked up the note and I don't even think it's available on Sprint. I think i'm just going to go with the GSII on Sprints network.

Last post. Thanks everyone for their input; it really helped with the decision making on my first smartphone.
